Literary Studies

The MA in Literary Studies offers separate programmes in the literatures of English, French, German and Italian. The focus lies on medieval, early modern and modern literature for English and French, on early modern literature for Italian and on modern literature for German. In all cases it is possible to combine a disciplinary with an interdisciplinary approach. This may relate to the relation between different media, between literature and philosophy, or between literature and history.The one-year MA is closely connected to the MA in Media Studies, the Comparative Literature and Literary Theory specialisation, and the MA in American Studies.
