More than 15% of school-age children have learning problems; they experience severe difficulties in learning one or more basic skills or they fail to display general base requirements. Experts who treat these children must be aware of the way in which children learn, what can go wrong and what interventions are evidence-based.
Pre-master’s
If you have a bachelor’s or master’s degree from a university of professional education and you wish to follow the one-year Master’s programme in Education and Child Studies, you first have to complete the pre-master’s programme in Education and Child Studies. In order to be admitted to the one-year pre-master’s, you have to pass the entrance examination. For more information see pre-master’s programme (in Dutch).
