In the specialisation in Dutch Studies you will explore the language and culture of the Netherlands from the Golden Age – the time of Rembrandt and Vondel – up to the dynamic, multicultural society of the present day. The programme focuses mainly on students for whom Dutch is not their native language. Leiden is the only university to offer such an extensive Dutch-language curriculum for international students.
Toelatingseisen
- een afgeronde bacheloropleiding Nederlandse taal en cultuur of Dutch Studies (of een gelijkwaardig diploma)
- een goede beheersing van het Nederlands: CEFR; luisteren: C1; lezen: C1; gesproken interactie: B2; gesproken productie: B2; schrijven: B2
- de opleiding is uitsluitend toegankelijk voor studenten voor wie Nederlands niet de moedertaal is.
Leidse studenten met een BA in Dutch Studies hoeven geen toelatingsverzoek in te dienen.
Een hbo-diploma geeft geen toegang tot deze master.
