If you choose the Master’s specialisation of Coach for Learning and Development, you opt for a programme in which you will learn to identify, diagnose and treat the learning, emotional and behavioural problems of pupils on the basis of scientific insights. You will also learn to evaluate the effects of the treatments used.
Arbeidsmarkt
Het doel van de masterspecialisatie is studenten voor te bereiden op de coachingtaken die leraar-begeleiders in het secundair onderwijs moeten vervullen. Ze moeten die coachingtaken zelf kunnen uitvoeren maar ook collega’s kunnen instrueren over en ondersteunen bij het uitvoeren van deze taken. De opleiding sluit goed aan bij de wens in de politiek en onderwijspraktijk om te komen tot een goede functiedifferentiatie binnen de staf die op school verantwoordelijk is voor een positieve ontwikkeling van alle leerlingen.
