The specialisation in Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences and Science-Based Business prepares you for a career in science-related business and for innovation and entrepeneurship with a biopharmaceutical bias. In addition to knowledge of bio-pharmaceutical sciences, master’s students, In the first year of the specialisation, the emphasis is on bio-pharmaceutical sciences, and in the second year students concentrate on Science-Based Business.

Entry requirements
- A BSc degree in Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences or Pharmacy from any Dutch university. Students holding such degree will directly be admitted to the programme. For all other candidates, the Admissions Committee will evaluate the equivalence of their previous training to this Bachelor of Science degree. Please note, that basic research training in the field of life sciences is required. Students who have a BSc in Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences from Leiden University are directly admissible.
- Proof of sufficient proficiency in English: IELTS test level of at least 6.5 or TOEFL score of at least 570/230, evidenced by appropriate test.
This requirement does not apply if you have:- completed your education in Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, New Zealand or Australia, or
- an International Baccalaureate
