Sylviuslaboratory open for Biologists
November 24 Rector Professor Paul van der Heijden opens the Sylviuslaboratorium, the new building of the Institute of Biology. It is no coincidence that the date chosen for the official opening, one hundred and fifty years ago on November 24, was the publishing date of ‘The Origin of Species’ by Charles Darwin.
