Rubicon grant for Leiden Observatory
NWO has awarded three Rubicon programme grants to Leiden, one of them to the Leiden Observatory.
Emily Tenenbaum (1982) from the University of Arizona will work at the Leiden Observatory for a period of 12 months
Molecules in Space _Unstable Ices
The researcher will investigate chemical reactions in interstellar ice in the laboratory to simulate conditions in space such as atmospheres. With a unique arrangement she will reveal small radicals that play an important role in the formation of complex molecules.
